Tim Beggans covers a continued Friday bid after yesterday’s +85 Bcf print, with November holding above the 13/48 EMAs. Also: salt-dome storage still well below last year, January showing a bullish RSI divergence inside the descending channel, cooler air into the Rockies and Northeast, EU storage at 73.1%, JKM January testing highs, no Ras Laffan loaders, Freeport still unstable, Golden Pass near 584k, Hurricane Isaias at 120 mph aimed at Mobile Bay / Pensacola and Saturday’s Alabama–Georgia game, drought relief from Rachel and Simon, nuclear outages at 15 GW, teleconnections shifting, early Arctic ice, and the E&P watch list.

Contract / levels:

November near 3.203–3.206, up ~3.8¢ (~1.1%)

Holding above the 13-period EMA; 13/48 EMAs crossed up

RSI still positive

Daily pivot ~3.191

Watching a retest of yesterday’s pre-report high near 3.275

January up ~5.1¢ to ~3.96; no new RSI low on the channel test — crowded short may be vulnerable

Storage (yesterday):

+85 Bcf vs consensus ~+82

Last year +77 / 5-year average +96

Total storage ~3.5 Tcf with about four weeks left in injection season

South-Mid and salt domes (227 Bcf vs 295 last year / 264 five-year) still lagging
